Dodo white wall light 12 cm | Ideal Lux

Dodo by Ideal Lux is a compact wall light that brings direct, easily adjustable light to the wall. The white finish is easy to coordinate with light-coloured walls, contemporary furniture and arrangements where the lighting should complement the room without making it feel heavy.

The metal body has a clean shape and a structure designed to direct the beam towards the desired point. The adjustable diffuser lets you change the direction of the light according to the layout of the space: it can illuminate a specific area, create a side light point or complement the room’s general lighting.

The light source uses a GX53 fitting with a maximum power of 15 W. The 3000 K light gives a warm tone for rooms where pleasant, non-cool illumination is preferred. Direct emission makes it suitable as supporting light beside a bed, in a corridor, near an entrance or in the living room, where it can accompany a passage area or highlight a particular zone.

With a width of 8.5 cm, height of 12 cm and depth of 10.5 cm, Dodo also suits walls with limited space. It can be installed on its own or combined with other lights from the same series to create an orderly arrangement. White keeps the visual effect light and works with both neutral palettes and stronger finishes such as wood, black or metal.

This is a functional, adjustable and discreet wall light with a GX53 fitting and warm light to integrate into your home’s everyday lighting.

Usage advice

Wall lights are normally installed 160-180 cm above the floor; placed in pairs beside a mirror, they provide even light on the face. The IP20 protection rating means it is intended for dry indoor areas. It takes a bulb with a GX53 fitting, up to 15 W: a warm-light LED gives good results and uses little energy. Bulbs are included in the package. It is not dimmable: the brightness depends on the bulbs fitted. Installation must be carried out with the power disconnected and, if you are not experienced, by an electrician.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always work with the light switched off, cool and disconnected from the mains. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. Before changing a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
