Dodo brushed brass wall light 12 cm | Ideal Lux

Dodo by Ideal Lux is a compact wall light that brings direct, easily directed light to the wall. The brushed brass finish adds a warm, tactile note, while the compact format allows it to fit where space is limited. It suits anyone looking for a functional light point with a precise, unobtrusive visual presence.

The adjustable diffuser lets you direct the light towards a specific area, wall or furnishing detail. The GX53 fitting supports a bulb of up to 15 W; the included light source is 9 W with a colour temperature of 3000 K. Direct light works well for focused illumination beside a bed, along a corridor, in an entrance hall or near a passageway.

A versatile finish for contemporary interiors

The brushed brass finish pairs with light walls, neutral tones and furniture with clean lines, while also working with dark details or tactile surfaces. With a width of 8.5 cm, height of 12 cm and depth of 10.5 cm, Dodo can be used on its own or combined with other wall lights from the same series to create an orderly arrangement.

The one-light format makes this model suitable both as supporting illumination and as a light point near a specific area. Wall installation highlights the beam direction and allows the light to be distributed precisely, while maintaining a clean, contemporary look.

Usage advice

Wall lights are normally installed 160-180 cm above the floor; placed in pairs beside a mirror, they provide even light on the face. The IP20 protection rating means it is intended for dry indoor areas. It takes a bulb with a GX53 fitting, up to 15 W: a warm-light LED gives good results and uses little energy. Bulbs are included in the package. It is not dimmable: the brightness depends on the bulbs fitted. Installation must be carried out with the power disconnected and, if you are not experienced, by an electrician.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always work with the light switched off, cool and disconnected from the mains. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. Before changing a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
