Black & Gold Round Downlight | Share Ø 8.5 cm | Maytoni

Maytoni’s Share recessed spotlight combines a compact shape with a two-tone black and matt gold finish. The aluminium body and round profile allow it to sit neatly in the ceiling, keeping the light source and clean installation in focus.

Share uses a replaceable 10 W GU10 bulb and is also compatible with LED bulbs. The 3000 K light gives a warm tone, creating pleasant, cosy illumination in rooms such as living rooms, hallways, bedrooms or study areas. The single-light format works as a standalone light point or in arrangements with several spotlights, distributing light along a route or across a specific area.

A compact ceiling solution

With a diameter of 8.5 cm and a height of 3.7 cm, this spotlight suits projects that call for a discreet yet recognisable fitting. The contrast between black and matt gold adds a measured decorative detail, complementing modern, contemporary interiors or rooms with metallic accents. Use it to support general lighting or highlight parts of a room without making the ceiling feel heavy.

The replaceable GU10 light source lets you choose the bulb that best suits your needs over time while retaining the essential character of the Share series. Before installation, consider the body dimensions and the available recessed space so that the light points can be positioned correctly.

Usage advice

The spotlights can be aimed after installation: point them towards areas to highlight, such as a worktop or wall. The IP 20 protection rating makes it suitable for dry indoor environments. Fit bulbs with a GU10 fitting, up to 10 W W each: using LED bulbs with the same warm tone provides an even result. Bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately. It is not dimmable: the intensity depends on the fitted bulbs. Isolate the electrical supply before installation; if you are unsure about the connection, ask an electrician to do it.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning, switch off the lamp, isolate the electrical supply and allow the surfaces to cool. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. To change a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
