Black & Gold Round Downlight | Maytoni

The Maytoni Share recessed downlight is a compact solution for ceiling lighting with a discreet, well-integrated light point. Its round shape and compact dimensions suit orderly arrangements, whether used individually or alongside other downlights to distribute light across several areas of the room.

The matt black and gold finish adds elegant contrast to the structure, combining a dark tone with a warmer detail. It suits modern interiors, where it can complement simple surfaces, wood, metal and neutral colours without making the ceiling feel heavy. The 8.5 cm diameter and 3.7 cm height make it suitable for projects requiring compact fittings.

Share uses a replaceable 10 W GU10 bulb compatible with LED bulbs. The light source is not integrated, allowing you to choose the GU10 bulb that best suits your lighting needs while retaining the product’s clean character. The light can provide general illumination in a small room or create focused points on circulation areas, work zones or interior details.

With recessed installation, the visible section remains compact and contributes to a clean result. Share suits entrances, hallways, kitchens, living rooms and utility spaces, particularly when you want to organise the lighting with several coordinated light points. The two-tone finish also works with light contemporary furniture and darker, more textured arrangements.

Usage advice

The downlights can be aimed after installation: direct them towards areas to highlight, such as a worktop or wall. The IP 20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor areas. It takes GU10 bulbs up to 10 W each; using LED bulbs with the same colour tone gives a uniform result. Bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately. It is not dimmable: the intensity depends on the bulbs fitted. Make the electrical connection with the power switched off; if you are unsure, consult an installer.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always clean the light when it is switched off and cool, with the power disconnected. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. To replace a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
