Slot profile black 200 cm Sur Ø08x09 Ideal Lux

The Slot profile mod. 346236 by Ideal Lux is a linear system for creating integrated LED lighting on ceilings or walls. Its clean shape and black finish suit modern projects where the light needs to follow a precise line without making the room feel visually heavy.

The profile is made from extruded aluminium with an anodised or powder-coated surface. Its compact section measures 0.9 cm in height and 0.8 cm in depth, while the length is 200 cm: a useful proportion for creating neat linear lighting paths. The intended emission is direct, with the light source housed inside the system and protected by a satin PMMA diffuser.

Slot holds a 5 mm LED strip, with a maximum power of 8 W/m and a remote driver. It is therefore not a flush ceiling light or a fitting with a bulb socket, but a technical component for building a made-to-measure lighting solution. It can be used to highlight coves, walls, furniture, false ceilings, passageways or work surfaces while keeping a discreet visual presence.

The black finish makes it easy to combine with dark furniture, metal details and contemporary interiors. The 200 cm length allows single installations or larger compositions with compatible elements from the Slot collection. Suitable LED strip and its remote driver must be provided for operation.

Usage advice

Installation must be carried out with the power disconnected and, if you lack experience, by an electrician.

Cleaning and maintenance

Carry out any work with the lamp switched off, cool and disconnected from the power supply. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that can damage the finish.
