Post-it LED outdoor wall light, steel | Ideal Lux

Post-it by Ideal Lux is a compact outdoor wall light that brings light to walls without adding visual weight. The steel finish complements an understated, modern form, suited to contemporary architectural projects and settings where lighting needs to be functional and orderly.

The body measures 8 x 8 x 1.5 cm and has a slim profile, fitting into entrances, façades, porticos, terraces and outdoor walkways. The integrated 3 W LED source emits warm 3000 K light directly towards the area to be lit. The result is focused and controlled: useful for guiding a route, marking an access point or creating service lighting beside a door.

The transparent diffuser protects the light source and helps keep the wall light’s visual appearance clean. The IP65 protection rating makes it suitable for installation outdoors, exposed to dust and water jets. The steel finish pairs easily with light walls, textured surfaces, metal window frames and minimalist outdoor furnishings.

Thanks to its compact form, Post-it can be used alone as a light point near an entrance or repeated along a wall or walkway while maintaining a uniform composition. It is a practical choice when you want warm, integrated light with a small footprint to accompany outdoor spaces discreetly.

Usage advice

Wall lights are generally installed 160-180 cm above the floor; placed in pairs beside a mirror, they provide even light on the face. The IP65 protection rating allows outdoor installation, including exposed positions subject to rain and dust. Fit a bulb with an LED fitting, up to 3 W: a warm-light LED performs well and uses little energy. The bulbs are included in the package. It cannot be dimmed: the brightness is determined by the fitted bulbs. Installation must be carried out with the power disconnected and, if you lack experience, by an electrician.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always work with the light switched off, cool and disconnected from the mains. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. Before changing a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
