Carlton 8-light chrome flush ceiling light Ø 40 cm Ideal Lux

The Carlton ceiling light by Ideal Lux brings a richly detailed lighting composition to the centre of the room, suited to anyone seeking a light with a clearly decorative presence. The chrome finish gives the fitting a bright appearance and enhances its combination of luminous and decorative elements, creating a balance between classic taste and contemporary style.

With its 8 E14 lights, Carlton provides a broad distribution of light to illuminate the area below evenly. Each bulb can have a maximum power of 40 W, allowing you to configure the ceiling light according to the desired atmosphere and illumination level, with light sources that complement the room’s décor.

The 40 cm diameter and 66 cm height create proportions suited to installation above a dining table, in a living room or in a hallway where the light should complement the décor with character. The vertical shape also works in rooms with sufficiently high ceilings, keeping the structure visible without weighing down the illuminated area.

Carlton pairs with glass tables, glossy surfaces and traditionally styled furnishings, while its chrome finish also complements more modern interiors. It is a suitable choice if you want a ceiling light with an E14 fitting, eight light points and a decorative look that defines the centre of the room.

Usage advice

Above a table, the recommended distance between the lower edge and the tabletop is 70-80 cm: high enough not to obstruct the view, yet low enough to light the surface. The IP20 protection rating means it is intended for dry indoor spaces. It takes 8 bulbs with an E14 fitting, up to 40 W each: using LED bulbs with the same colour temperature gives a uniform result. Bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately. It is not dimmable: the intensity depends on the bulbs fitted. Installation must be carried out with the power disconnected and, if you are inexperienced, by an electrician.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always work with the light switched off, cool and disconnected from the mains. Dust the metal with a dry cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive products that could damage the finish. Before changing a bulb, wait until it has cooled and do not exceed the maximum wattage shown on the label.
